Timely conversation from the heart of Charlotte

Each year, the Williamson Lecture addresses a timely, relevant community issue through moderated conversation with thought leaders, innovators, and experts. The lectures are open to the public and designed to engage, encourage, and challenge diverse audiences.

Bill and Pat Williamson

Third generation members of St. Peter’s, Bill and Pat Williamson have enriched the life of the St. Peter’s parish family—and the Charlotte community—in more ways than can be counted. Their leadership has impacted area nonprofits, local politics, key initiatives, and the St. Peter’s community of faith.

Bill Williamson served as Chair of the St. Peter’s Endowment Board for more than thirty years, and under his leadership the endowment grew by four-fold. The legacy of this work is broad and deep, increasing our capacity to live out our mission, care for our historic home in uptown Charlotte, and serve the greater community. The Williamson Lectures honor that legacy.
